Jerick Tatarian
Jerick Tatarian is a composer for film and media from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States. He composes, records, and produces professional film scores from his home studio. Films that he has collaborated on have won awards, such as Best Tennessee Student Short (Nashville Film Fest) and Best Short Film (Women’s Film Festival). Jerick is highly passionate about the collaborative process that is filmmaking and always finds inspiration from the sheer artistry that goes into all the inner workings of film production. He is influenced by the greats who have paved the way for film music like John Williams, Max Steiner, Bernard Herrmann, Alan Silvestri, and more.
Jerick is a classically trained pianist and organist having obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Music from Oklahoma City University. He is currently in pursuit of a Master of Music in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music with a graduation date set for the spring of 2026. With his background and education in piano, he offers private piano lessons for students K-12 and adults at any level from beginner to advanced.
